Refund Policy
Last updated: October 2, 2026
1. EU 14-day right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer resident in the European Union, you have a legal right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. Because SubSync AI is a digital subscription that gives you immediate access, this right ends as soon as the App has been fully activated and used, which you explicitly acknowledge at checkout. In practice, this means:
- If you have not activated your license key at all, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked.
- If you have activated and used the App, a refund within the 14-day window is still considered on a case-by-case basis, particularly if you used it only briefly - contact us and we'll be reasonable about it.
2. After the 14-day window
Subscriptions are billed in advance for the period selected (monthly or yearly). We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time after the 14-day window has passed. Cancelling stops future renewals - you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
3. Always refundable situations
Regardless of the above, we will always refund you if:
- you were charged more than once for the same subscription period by mistake,
- a technical fault on our side prevented the App from working and we were unable to fix it within a reasonable time, or
- you were charged after a cancellation that was submitted correctly and on time.
4. What a refund does not cover
Refunds of your SubSync AI subscription do not cover any AI usage costs you paid separately to your own AI provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek, Google, or any other endpoint you connected) - those are billed and refunded, if at all, directly by that provider under their own terms.
5. How to request a refund
Email support@subsyncai.app with the email address used at checkout, or use the customer portal link in your original purchase receipt from Lemon Squeezy. We aim to respond within 2 business days, and approved refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy back to your original payment method within their standard processing time.
