Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern access to and use of SubSync AI (the "App"), provided by Net-Prom, Boris Krajnc s.p., registered at Videm pri Ptuju 27, 2284 Videm pri Ptuju, Slovenia, Slovenia, registration number 1292234000, VAT ID SI28725557 ("we", "us"). By installing, activating a license for, or otherwise using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. What SubSync AI is

SubSync AI is a desktop application and browser extension that detects subtitles shown by supported streaming platforms and displays a translated overlay, using an AI provider that you configure yourself. Your paid subscription covers access to the App only. It does not include any AI translation usage: you must supply and pay for your own API key with a supported AI provider (or a compatible endpoint of your choosing), and your use of that provider is governed entirely by that provider's own terms and pricing, which are outside our control.

2. Account and license

A subscription grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to run the App on one device at a time, identified by a license key. You can deactivate a device and activate a new one yourself at any time from the App's License window. You may not share, resell, or sublicense your license key, or attempt to circumvent the per-device activation limit. The App is proprietary software; the scope of the license, and what you may not do with the App (including copying or redistributing it), are set out in the Software License Agreement.

3. Subscription, billing and price changes

Subscriptions renew automatically (monthly or yearly, as selected) until cancelled. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy, Inc., acting as our authorized reseller and merchant of record, who calculates and collects any applicable VAT and issues your receipt. We may change subscription pricing for future billing periods with reasonable advance notice; continued use after a price change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new price.

4. Right of withdrawal (EU consumers)

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you normally have the right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days without giving a reason. Because the App is a digital service that begins immediately upon purchase, by completing checkout you expressly request immediate access and acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once the service has been fully performed - see our Refund Policy for how this applies in practice and when refunds remain available.

SubSync AI is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Netflix, Inc. or any other streaming platform referenced on this site. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.

7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The App is provided "as is". Translations are generated by third-party AI models and may contain errors; we do not guarantee translation accuracy. We are not responsible for the availability, pricing, or conduct of any third-party AI provider or streaming platform. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for your subscription in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may cancel your subscription at any time; access continues until the end of the period already paid for. We may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are materially violated.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Slovenia. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the EU, mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence may also apply.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date above.
